Pärnu Tammsaare School installed sun protection films on the south-facing windows to reduce bright sunlight and improve the indoor climate of the classrooms.
The sunny spring days at Pärnu Tammsaare School caused uncomfortable conditions in the classrooms – the bright light disturbed learning and the rooms quickly became stuffy. During the school's renovation work, it was decided to solve the problem by installing solar control films.
Solar control films were installed on all south-facing windows to limit excessive solar radiation and improve the indoor climate of the rooms. The solution helps to keep the classrooms bright, while at the same time being more comfortable for both students and teachers. The client for the works was the main contractor for renovation works, Eviko Ehitus.
