In an apartment on Kreutzwaldi Street, a serious overheating problem arose during sunny days. Despite installing a second air conditioner and repainting the window frames, the indoor temperature continued to rise to 40 degrees Celsius on sunny days, making the living space very uncomfortable.
To solve the problem, solar control films were installed on the apartment windows, which significantly help to limit the solar heat entering the building. Thanks to this, the existing cooling systems are able to sufficiently cool the rooms even on the hottest days, and the indoor climate has become noticeably more tolerable. Due to the apartment's location, the work was relatively difficult to carry out, but the result met expectations.
